Sagor och sägner; en fortsättning

Can you tell that I love this coloring book? :)

Here are two more pictures I have managed to finish. I joined a coloralong in a facebook group when coloring Santas wokshop.

In the Frog Prince image, I really wanted to have moonlight so I added a moon to the background and tried to keep the color scale in "night colors".

When I color, I try to work use a color scheme and not use too many different colors. I choose three colors that will dominate and then add very few detail colors. I regret that I did not use the same warm gray on the horses tail and mane as the one I used on the floor.

Both images are colored primarily with Chameleon pens. Then there are details made with a white posca, white gelpen and polychromos pencils.

Nu var det länge sen igen :)

Jag har färglagt som en tok i Emelie lidehäll öberg nya bok Sagor och Sägner. Det här är mina två första färdiglagda sidor. Jag har använt främst Chameleon Pens och min vita gelpenna. Hela boken är som en sagobok, jättevacker och jag ville färglägga i en sagokänsla.

Vibrant Garden

Method UK is having a coloring competition with Johanna Basford. You just download one of the JB drawings on their side, color it and then upload it to their Facebook page or on Instagram.

Fairtytale birds

Another one from the book "sagolikt" (fairytale like) by Emelie Lidehäll Öberg. :)

"Once upon a time.."

Today I have been coloring in my new favorite book, "Sagolikt" (fairy tale like) by Emelie Lidehäll Öberg.
It is full of fairy tale inspired pictures as well as pastry, flowers and sweets. :) This pic was colored and shaded with chameleon pens. And then I went over the whole pic with a white gel pen.

Here you can see how it looked before I started shading it. I always like to wait with shading, high lighting and special effects until the end.

Quite the difference, huh? :)

The bee hive

Another one from Hanna Karlzon'z postcard book "sommarnatt" :) I used chameleon pens for the intense colors (yellow, black, brown and orange). I love chameleon pens because they just make such a smooth and opaque finish. Then I used caran'dache pastel pencils on top for shading and highlighting. Talk about a match made in heaven!
A little white gel pen for some finishing touches and done :)
